The Sought Out Generation Foundation has told learners to be dedicated to their academics as this will make it easier for them to fulfil their purpose.
Founder of SOG, Faith Boboye, who spoke at a career programme titled, ‘Dare to be a change,’ held at JOGEM International College, Owode Egba, Ogun State, said, “If you want to fulfil purpose here on earth, you have to take complete responsibility for your actions, interactions and reactions.
“You must be willing to fight back and stay strong no matter how difficult the situation is. You must be willing to turn your mess into a message of hope and adversity if you truly want to fulfil your purpose.
“It is not easy but worth it. For every reason why it is not possible, there are hundreds of people who have faced the same circumstances and succeeded.
“The need for education can never be overemphasised. You all need education to fulfil your purpose.”
A human resources professional, Margaret Ejiro-Edoja, educated the students about the courses available in Nigerian universities and what was required to get into their desired professional career.
Also, a 200 level student of the Department of Criminology And Security Studies, Caleb University, Aiyelabola Okiki, who spoke on ‘Balancing academics and teenage lifestyle,’ advised the students to improve on their academic performance.
While giving a speech on ‘Emotional Stability In Teenage Life At This Time,’ Funmilayo Ojerinde encouraged the students to “be bold and intentional about yourself – well-being, mental health, physical appearance, happiness, diet, feelings.”

A motivating discussion is worth comment. I believe that you ought to write more on this topic, it may not be a taboo matter but generally people do not talk about such issues. To the next! All the best!!
Thank you!
